This policy describes what information cheatcalc collects, why, who we share it with, and how to request changes or deletion. We try to keep it short and honest.
What we collect
When you place an order through cheatcalc.com, we collect:
- Name (for shipping the unit to you)
- Email address (for the order confirmation and your 8-digit identification number)
- Shipping address (for the unit to actually reach you)
- The fact that you purchased (one row in our database tying your order to your unit's identification number)
- Stripe transaction ID (for reconciliation if there's ever a payment dispute)
We do not collect or store your credit card number, expiry, CVV, billing address, or any other payment instrument detail. Payment information goes directly to Stripe; we never see or touch it.
What we don't collect
- We do not run analytics, ad pixels, or third-party tracking scripts on the site.
- We do not build a marketing profile of you.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to any third party for any reason.
Service providers
We use a small number of trusted service providers to operate the business — payment processing, web hosting, email delivery, and the AI service your calculator talks to during normal use. Information is shared with each provider only as needed to perform that specific function, and each provider is bound by its own privacy and security obligations.
We do not list our individual providers publicly. If you have a specific compliance, legal, or regulatory need to know who handles your data, contact us at privacy@cheatcalc.com and we will respond on a case-by-case basis.
How long we keep your data
Order records (name, email, shipping address, identification number) are retained as long as your unit is in the field, plus a reasonable period for support and legal record-keeping (typically 3 years after delivery). You can request earlier deletion — see below.
Cookies and tracking
cheatcalc.com sets one cookie (cheatcalc_admin) and only for admin users signing into the dashboard. No cookies are set for regular visitors.
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other tracking pixel. The only network requests your browser makes when loading cheatcalc.com go to our own infrastructure (Vercel, Supabase) and to Google Fonts for typography.
Your rights
You can ask us, at any time, to:
- Confirm what information we have on file for you
- Correct any information that's out of date or wrong (e.g., shipping address)
- Delete your record from our database (see warning below)
- Export your data in a portable format
To make any of these requests, email privacy@cheatcalc.com from the email address on file with your order. We'll respond within 30 days.
Warning: data deletion voids your purchase. Your order record is what links your account to the API key(s) provisioned for the calculator(s) we shipped you. If you ask us to delete your record, we will revoke the associated API key(s) at the same time — your calculator(s) will cease to function and become unusable as AI calculators.
This action is permanent and not reversible. Once deleted, we cannot restore your record, re-issue the API key, or replace the unit. Devices rendered inoperable by a data-deletion request are not eligible for refund or replacement under any circumstance.
If you only want to update or correct your information, use the "Correct" option instead — that does not affect your devices.
Children's privacy
cheatcalc is not intended for or marketed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you are under 18, do not purchase or provide information to us.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be announced on the homepage and in Discord at least 14 days before they take effect.
