Before you buy
- Checkout asks for your Discord username, and it is optional. Give it and we can reach you in Discord, where tickets are answered and shipping updates arrive. Leave it blank and we use your email instead, which works but is slower.
- AI usage is billed to you. The price covers the hardware. What the unit spends talking to a model is yours to pay.
- Units are secondhand and modified. Scuffs, button wear and faded printing are expected and are not grounds for a refund.
- All sales are final. Replacement is offered only for a verified manufacturing defect reported within 7 days of delivery. See the refunds page.
- Sold as novelty hardware. You must be 18 or older to buy.
About this unit
The unit is a real TI-84 Plus that somebody owned before you. We open it, fit the hardware that does the work, and close it again. From the outside nothing is added, nothing is removed and nothing is relabelled, which is the entire point of this variant.
You ask it a question through the keypad and the answer renders on the calculator display. There is no second screen, no companion app and no light that comes on. Response time is a few seconds on a normal connection.
It joins a WiFi network at setup so it can reach the model provider. On that same network the unit serves a small settings page, which is where you change the firmware options and pick which model answers. You are not locked to one provider or one model, and the newest ones work as they are released.
Because every unit is secondhand, the chassis colour and the cosmetic condition vary. Expect scuffs, button wear and faded printing. If that matters to you, this is not the right purchase.
